TaxExpertWitness.co.uk is a referral service that connects UK solicitors, barristers, forensic accountants, and taxpayers' advisers with qualified tax expert witnesses. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal or tax advice.

Geographic Scope

TaxExpertWitness.co.uk is a United Kingdom–focused referral service. We connect instructing solicitors, barristers, and advisers with tax expert witnesses experienced in HMRC enquiries, UK tribunal procedure (First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal), and domestic UK tax law including income tax, corporation tax, VAT, IHT, CGT, SDLT, and NIC. We do not provide expert witness referrals for non-UK tax jurisdictions, US federal or state tax proceedings, or disputes governed by foreign tax authorities.

Nature of the Service

When you submit an enquiry, we review your case details and introduce you to an appropriate tax expert witness. Any engagement with an expert witness is a separate arrangement between you and the expert. We do not guarantee the outcome of any tax dispute or tribunal proceeding.

Expert Witness Independence
